NSS PG Unit organized the Digital Literacy and Cashless India Programme

The NSS PG Unit, Dibrugarh University, successfully organized Digital Literacy and Cashless India Programme survey and awareness programme at Dibrugarh – Duliajan road, Dibrugarh on 11th October, 2024 —The program aimed to survey use of digital payment mechanism used by different shops and street vendors. It was found that a most of the shops are accepting digital payment, which has made their life easier, leading India to a cashless India. The survey was conducted in 20 shops. 5 Volunteers were present in the programme. The programme was organised under the guidance of Dr. Amar Upadhyaya, programme officer of the NSS PG Unit, Dibrugarh University. Senior volunteers Mr. Kunal Agarwal, Debendu Das and Mr. Kaustav Baruah led the volunteers during the programme.
