The Training and Placement Cell (TPC), Dibrugarh University, in association with the Dibrugarh University Research Scholars’ Association (DURSA), has organized the inaugural session of the “Anweshan 1.0” NET Orientation Program for Paper-I. The event took place on the 20th of August 2024 at Indira Miri Conference Hall. The program commenced with a warm welcome address by Mr. Monuj Tamuli, Training & Placement Officer, Dibrugarh University, who highlighted the significance of the orientation program in preparing students for the National Eligibility Test (NET). His insightful words set a positive tone for the event, emphasizing the importance of academic excellence and continuous learning.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Prof. Surajit Borkotokey, Dean, Student Affairs, and Prof. Dipak Chetia, Dean, Research and Development. Prof. Surajit Borkotokey officially inaugurated the program. In his inaugural speech, he underscored the critical role of such initiatives in enhancing the academic and professional capabilities of the students. Prof. Dipak Chetia also delivered an insightful speech. He also commended the collaborative efforts of the Training and Placement Cell and DURSA in organizing this valuable program.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and research scholars. The program aims to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in the NET examination, thereby fostering a culture of academic excellence within the university. The event was anchored by Bituprative Boruah, and it was concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Dimonjyoti Bora, President of DURSA, expressing gratitude to Dibrugarh University Administration, guests, as well as all the participants.
