The Dibrugarh Orthopaedic Society, in collaboration with Dibrugarh University, organized a Road Safety Awareness Programme and Basic Life Support Demonstration on August 7, 2024, at the Indira Miri Conference Hall. The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Bipul Borthakur, Head of the Department of Orthopedics at Assam Medical College and Hospital. Other members of the Dibrugarh Orthopaedic Society conducted demonstrations of basic life support techniques. The event saw active participation from students, research scholars, faculty members, and staff from the university health center.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Monuj Dutta, Assistant Professor at the Centre for Social Work Studies, and Dr. Mantu Boro, Associate Professor at the Centre for Physical Education & Sports.
