Awareness Programme on Government Schemes

The NSS PG Unit, Dibrugarh University, successfully NSS PG Unit organised the Pradhanmantri Jan Dhan Yojna survey and awareness programme at Nagachapri Goan, Dibrugarh Assam, on 9th October 2024. The program aimed to survey how many people have bank accounts and benefited from direct benefit transfers by the government with the help of schemes like the Orunodoi scheme. The survey was conducted in 20 houses.

The NSS PG Unit, Dibrugarh University, successfully organised the Har Ghar Nal Se Jal Yojana survey and awareness programme at Gohain Goan, Dibrugarh Assam, on 10th October 2024 —The program aimed to survey how many houses benefited from Har Ghar Nal Se Jal Yojona. The research results showed that many have benefited from the Yojana, but there is a problem with the irregular water supply.  The survey was conducted in 15 houses. This was the result of the study.

The NSS PG Unit, Dibrugarh University, successfully organised the Atal Awas Yojana survey and awareness programme at Ultan Goan, Dibrugarh Assam, on 11th October 2024 —The program aimed to survey how many people have benefited from the Atal Awas Yojana. The survey found that many people have got their Pakka Houses, but many are yet to get them. The survey was conducted in 20 houses. Around 5 Volunteers were present in the programme.

The programmes were organised under the guidance of Dr. Amar Upadhyaya, programme officer of the NSS PG Unit, Dibrugarh University. Senior volunteers Mr. Kunal Agarwal, Mr. Debendu Das and Mr. Kaustav Baruah led the volunteers during the programme.
