In celebration of International Youth Day, the Centre for Social Work Studies at Dibrugarh University, in collaboration with Yumetta Foundation, organized a Youth Film Festival on August 12, 2024. The event aimed to provide a platform for young people to engage with thought-provoking films that explore various aspects of life, culture, and society, offering a valuable learning experience that contributes to personal and intellectual growth.
The festival was attended by MSW students of Dibrugarh University and focused on critical issues such as addiction, suicide, positive mental health, and the social factors contributing to mental health challenges. Several short films addressing these topics were screened, sparking insightful discussions.
