A Day-long Workshop on “Preparation and Submission of Research Project Proposals” was organized by IQAC, Dibrugarh University on 24th June 2024. The inaugural session of the workshop was started with a welcome address by Dr. Ankur Bharali, Director, IQAC, Dibrugarh University. The workshop was inaugurated by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Jiten Hazarika. In his inaugural speech, the Vice Chancellor highlighted the importance of applying for funded research projects and encouraged the young teachers to put more effort in this direction. Dr. Dipak Chetia, Dean, R&D, Dibrugarh University highlighted the status of ongoing/completed projects of the university. The invited Resource Persons, Dr. Joydeep Baruah, professor (Economics), KKHSOU and Dr. Amiya Kr. Das, Associate Professor (Sociology), Tezpur University was welcomed by the organizing team.
The technical sessions were conducted by the resource persons in an interesting and engaging manner with hands-on activities from the participants. Around forty faculty members from the disciplines of Humanities, Social Sciences and other Allied subjects of Dibrugarh University have participated in the workshop.
