As part of commitment to societal responsibility, the Dibrugarh University Officers’ Association (DUOA) organized a “Career Awareness Programme” on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Jokai H.S. School, Jokai. Around 150 students of Class X participated in the event. The Principal, Jokai H.S. School introduced the members of DUOA to the students anticipating their active participation. The representatives of DUOA, Mr. Monuj Kumar Tamuli, Dr. Jitu Ranjan Chetia and Mr. Mridul Medhi, discussed various career opportunities available across different fields of Humanities, Science and Management as well as in the social science subjects. The speakers also highlighted various career avenues which can be achieved through vocational courses. By the end of the programme, the students were able to understand the available career opportunities and got their doubts cleared in the Question-Answer session.
