The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences in collaboration with the IQAC, Dibrugarh University organized a “One Day Symposium on Publication and Skill Development” on 28th of February, 2022 for Research Scholars of the Science Departments of Dibrugarh University in the Indira Miri Conference Hall. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof.L.K.Nath inaugurated the Programme. Four eminent Scientist from PGIMER Chandigarh and AIIMS, New Delhi, viz .Prof. Bikash Medhi, Dr. Ajay Prakash, Dr. Promod Avti, and Dr. Sudhir Ch. Sarangi, from AIIMS, New Delhi had presented their talks.
The Programme was organized to enrich the Students’ skills in their research initiatives particularly with special focus on the Publication Skill, database inventory, Scientific writing, role of various databases, search engines, Impact factor journals, Predatory journals discussion on the funding agencies etc. Teachers from various Departments and a total of 46 research scholars from various Departments/Centres attended the Programme.
