Resent research activities are of two folds
  1. Source rock characterization of Disang Shales of Disang Group on regional basis. Assessment of Shale Oil/ Shale gas potential of Disang Shales.
  2. Assessment of sulphide ore potential and other resources in parts of Mikir Hills, Assam.
